Bornholm has introduced waste management/sorting of waste.

Inside each apartment there is a container for residual waste, plastic (and milk containers) and food water, which are to be emptied into sealable bags.

The central waste container is situated in the behind the sliding doors in the courtyard.

Cardboard, paper, glass and metal are to be placed in waste containers in the garden of Galleri Sonja (enter through the gate in Søndergade).

Deposit bottles are to be entered into the recycling containers behind Brugsen.

If you cancel your reservation 4 weeks prior to arrival, the full amount (minus the paid deposit) will be refunded. If you cancel your reservation less than 4 weeks before arrival, we will charge the full amount (to the credit card provided at reservation).

Check-in time is 15:00 on the day of arrival.

Check-out time is no later than 11:00 on the day of departure.

You are welcome to ask if it is possible to check in or out earlier or later. Contact us at booking@villasonja.dk, and we will try to help you.

The apartment must be left tidy. Furniture and other fixtures must be in the same place and in the same condition as you found them on arrival. Please ensure that windows and doors are closed and locked, and put the key in place in the key box.

Please empty the fridge, close all doors and windows, empty the waste bin, and turn on the dishwasher. Return the key to the keybox.

If you have rented linen, please take it off and leave it outside the rooms. Wet dishcloths and tea towels should be placed in a separate pile. Wet linen should be left on the floor in the bathroom.

All apartments in Villa Sonja are equipped with:

Fully equipped kitchen (for more info, see "Kitchen") with fridge, small freezer and dishwasher. In addition, there are a couple of tea towels and dishcloths.

There are mobile children’s beds available for the whole house.

Wireless internet

Two parking spaces are available for Villa Sonja’s guests.

All guests in Villa Sonja are welcome to use the courtyard, but please respect our neighbors and the other guests in Villa Sonja. Thus, loud music may not be played in the courtyard after 22:00.

In the stairwell, cushions for the benches outside are placed. The cushions do not tolerate water, so please bring them inside if it is raining.

In the shed, a yakitori barbecue is available, which you are welcome to use - please clean it after use. If other guests have left coal and kindling, you are free to use this, and feel free to supplement. The barbecue doesn't like to be left outside when it rains.

In the shed, we have placed lanterns for candles. Do not put candles directly on the tables in the courtyard.

There is a drying rack for wet beach towels and swim wear in the courtyard.

Small dogs are welcome, if they do not sit or lie in the furniture.

Please arrange this with the team behind Villa Sonja before arrival.

We have made an effort to make Villa Sonja a wonderful place. We take good care of the house and its furnishings, and we expect you to do the same.  

Smoking is not allowed in Villa Sonja.

Guests are responsible for any damage to Villa Sonja and the inventory during their stay. This may involve payment for extra cleaning, repair or replacement of broken/lost items.  

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, Villa Sonja may not be used for parties.

Villa Sonja is for private use only. If you want to use Villa Sonja for a commercial photo shoot or anything else commercial, please contact us.

The kitchens are equipped with kitchenware of a good quality.

All kitchens are supplied with oil, sugar, salt and pepper, as well as spices. If you need anything else, it may be bought in local supermarkets.

The apartments all have dishwashers and dishwasher soap. If the machine runs out of salt or rinse aid, both can be found in the kitchen cupboard.

The pans are made of iron, so they can only be washed with hot water and not soap, and they may not be washed in the dishwasher. The same goes for kitchen knives.

Villa Sonja has two parking spaces in Søndergade. Turn right from Storegade onto Søndergade, and the parking spaces are situated immediately on the left-hand side and are marked with “Villa Sonja”. If you choose to park at Kirkepladsen or elsewhere in Allinge, please be aware of the current regulations.

All prices are in Danish kroner including VAT. A 20% deposit will be charged at the time of booking. The remaining 80% will be charged 4 weeks prior to your stay.

Booking of is done through "booking" on our website.

In the high season, you can book from Saturday to Saturday and a minimum of one week at a time. Outside the high season, it is possible to book shorter stays. Cleaning is mandatory and included in the price.

You can use our linen service, which is booked under "linen" in the booking system.

If you go by plane, there are several daily departures from Copenhagen, and regular departures from Billund and Aalborg. The trip from Copenhagen airport to Rønne airport takes just a little more than 20 minutes:

If you are going by car, the best connection is with the fast ferry that sails from Ystad to Rønne, www.bornholmslinjen.dk.

The bus is a cheaper alternative from Copenhagen to Rønne, www.kombardo.dk.
